Abstract
Intravascular ultrasound demonstrated plaque ruptures that occurred in regi ons involved with large complicated atherosclerotic plaques in the coronary artery. Because intravascular ultrasound evaluates both plaque and luminal dimensions, it contributes to our understanding of the pathophysiology of coronary artery disease.
