Abstract
Zooplankton abundance fluctuates according to the availability of phytoplan ktonic resources which depend of the nutrient content. The evolution of zooplankton abundance, expressed as settled zooplankton, h as followed trophic level changes of Lake Geneva. The current improvement phase in Lake Geneva exhibits an unsteadiness ident ical to the one observed from 1963 to 1969, however lasting since 8 years.
