Abstract
Several monoacetyldiglycerides were synthesized from glycerol in search fbr new Ca2+ mobilizing agent in vitro. All monoacetyldiglycerides except lino lenoyl and phenlycyclopropylcarbonyl derivatives showed activity toward Ca2 + release in pancreatic acinar cells. Linoleoyl and docosahexaenoyl derivat ives were chosen for further test and exhibited unique activity. (C) 1998 E lsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
