Abstract
The synthesis, conjugation, and chemiluminescent evaluation of zero, first, and second order acridinium-based Tracermer(TM) signal generators are desc ribed. Members of this family of labels have potential use as tracers in di agnostic assays and an structurally similar to arborol dendrimers. Tracerme r(TM)-BSA conjugates showed up to a sixfold increase in light emission comp ared to the normal acridinium label. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rig hts reserved.
