This paper presents the results of seepage tests conducted in the laborator
y and in situ in view of estimating the effect of stresses on the percolati
on through a micaschist. Description of the laboratory device is followed b
y analysis of the flow variations versus the normal and shear stresses, the
loading path (hysteresis), time (creep) and the type of fluid (water or ai
r). In situ, after a brief description of the experimental set-up, the quan
tity of flow percolating around the test borehole is studied versus the str
ess normal to the schistosity plane direction. A synthesis of the results i
s presented as a conclusion.
