Abstract
The syntheses, structures and reactivity of multiply banded terminal chalco genido complexes of the Group 23 and 14 elements is reviewed. In particular , specific attention is given to complexes that can be generated under ambi ent conditions and retain the terminal chalcogenido moiety in the solid sta te.
