Abstract
We prove global existence for a semicontinuous kinetic model, which in
the space homogeneous case reduces to the particular case of the semi
continuous model introduced by Cabannes in 1980 [3]. In the space inho
mogeneous case the model call be considered as a continuous version of
the Carleman model.
