Abstract
A procedure for bis-cyclopropanation of furans with ethyl diazoacetate or m ethyl alpha-diazopropionate under dirhodium-tetraacetate catalysis is prese nted. Treatment of the products with ethanolic HCl furnished furan-3,4-diac etates.
