Abstract
An experiment was conducted during 1993-94 and 1994-95 to study nutrient up take and net return under 9 crop sequences, comprising double and triple cr opping systems. Maize (Zea mays L.)-potato (Solanum tuberosum L.)-wheat (Tr iticum aestivum L, emend. Firoi & Paol.), followed maize-potato-blackgram o r urdbean (Phaselous mungo L.) removed maximum quantity of nitrogen, phosph orus and potash and gave maximum net return (Rs/ha) during both the years.
