Abstract
Excess molar enthalpies measured at the temperature 298.15 K in a flow micr ocalorimeter are reported for the ternary mixture {x(1)CH(3)(CH2)(5)CH3 + x (2)(CH3)(3)COCH3 + (1 - x(1) - x(2))CH3O(CH2)(2)OCH3}. A smooth representat ion of the results is described and used to construct constant-enthalpy con tours on a Roozeboom diagram. It is shown that good estimates of the ternar y enthalpies can be obtained from the Flory theory using only the physical properties of the components and their binary mixtures.
