Abstract
An approach for calculations of relativistic photoeffect parameters based o n the multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock method is proposed. The computations of the 4d photoionization cross sections and their branching ratios as well a s of the 4d photoelectron spectra in atomic barium have been performed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
