Abstract
The methods for analysis of the thermal features and simulation of the infr ared signatures of vehicles were given. Taking a tank as an example, accord ing to its structural features and the external conditions, the models for calculating the 3-D transient temperature field and radiative flux of the b ody of a tank were established. The temperature field of a tank and its rad iative flux picture in the infrared spectra were simulated by computer.
