Seven cassane diterpenes, including the known caesaldekarin A, were isolate
d from the roots of Caesalpinia bonduc, collected in Barbados. The H-1 and
C-13 NMR spectra of all seven compounds were completely assigned by using a
combination of 2D NMR experiments, which included H-1-H-1 COSY, HSQC, HMQC
, and HMBC sequences.
