Abstract
Two new diterpenoids, pierisformoside A (1) and pierisformosin D (2), and t
wo known diterpenoids, asebotoxins VIII (3) and V (4), were isolated from l
eaves of Pieris formosa. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of s
pectral analysis, including H-1-H-1 COSY, C-13-H-1 COSY, HMBC, and NOESY ex
periments.
