Abstract
An improvement of UTD diffraction coefficient for the case of a lossy dielectric wedge when a transmitted ray exists is presented. Two new t erms are elaborated which are added in the classical UTD diffraction c oefficient, so that thr continuity of the total field is obtained. The result is compared with a numerical method based on FDTD.
