By analogy with Neumann's approach describing the regularities of diff
usion transfer between the cells of two-dimensional foam, the role of
cell polyhedrality in three-dimensional high-expansion foam is discuss
ed. An expression was obtained that relates the rate of diffusion gas
transfer from the cell with its polyhedral structure; the shape of the
imaginary ''critical'' cell was found that does not change its size w
ith time; the case of low-expansion foam was discussed.
