Abstract
It is well known that Joseph Stalin had many medical problems. This pa per relates another of Stalin's medical problems and how he dealt with it. Boris Petrovski, Minister of Health Care of the USSR for fifteen years, slated in 1990 in an interview in Ogonyok, that Joseph Stalin h ad had psoriasis since his early youth. This skin disease is not menti oned in Tsarist police reports in 1906. His skin disease may have been subject to exacerbations and remissions.
