Abstract
A case of acute myopericarditis in a young patient who presented with clinical and echocardiographic abnormalities suggestive of myocardial infarction is reported. Many similar cases have been described in the literature. This presentation should be borne in mind since it require s specific therapy. The immediate outcome in the case reported herein was favorable, with findings at the two-month follow-up visit indicati ng an excellent recovery.
