Abstract
We show that reflection anisotropy spectroscopy (RAS) can be used to charac terize the growth of organic epilayers on metallic surfaces. Two prototype adsorption systems are studied; one showing the use of RAS in determining m olecular orientation, and a second to demonstrate real-time sensitivity to the interface chemistry during adsorption.
