Abstract
DRAMIGA, S. A. and B. J. RUBAL. Rehabilitation following redo revascul arization and repaired sternotomy. Med. Sci. Sports Exerc., Vol. 29, N o. 4, pp. 427-329, 1997. Currently there are no guidelines for exercis e prescription for cardiac patients with repaired sternotomy. This stu dy reports good results in a 63-yr-old patient with prolonged course o f hospitalization following mediastinitis and discusses considerations required for safe participation in competitive sports.
