Abstract
The dynamical behavior of image-potential states has been studied with two- photon photoemission for CO on Cu(100), Pure dephasing is observed as the l oss of coherence in quantum beats, or derived from linewidth and lifetime m easurements. energy electron diffraction is also established. A correlation to the surface order as observed by low-energy electron diffraction is als o established. [S0031-9007(98)08070-3].
