Abstract
Nonclassical effects which appear in the supersonic nonequilibrium gas flow of a nonuniform relaxation described by the Boltzmann equation are studied . For such a how, in particular, the heat flux and the temperature gradient have the same signs. Analytical and numerical results are presented. Possi ble experimental verification is discussed.
