Abstract
A water-soluble polysaccharide extracted from leaves of the Meliaceae Cedre
la tubiflora was separated into neutral and acidic polysaccharide fractions
. The best anticomplementary activity was exhibited by the neutral product
which was further purified by means of gelpermeation chromatography. The co
mposition and methylation analysis of the purified product were determined.
