Abstract
Four new ent-kaurane diterpenoids, glabcensin V-Y were isolated from the dr ied leaves of Isodon angustifolius var. glabrescens and their structures el ucidated by spectral methods. The structures of the new compounds were esta blished as ent-6 beta,11 alpha-dihydroxy-3 alpha,7 alpha-diacetoxy-kaur-16- ene-15-one; ent-3 alpha,6 beta,7 alpha,11 alpha-tetraacetoxy-kaur-16-ene-15 -one; ent-3 alpha-hydroxy-7 alpha,11 alpha-diacetoxy-kaur-16-ene-6,15-dione and ent-3 alpha,15 alpha-dihydroxy-7 alpha,11 alpha-diacetoxy-kaur-16-ene- 6-one respectively.
