Abstract
The fermentation of sarsasapogenin with Fusarium lini yielded two metabolit es identified as 3 beta-acetoxysarsasapogenin and 7 alpha-hydroxysarsasapog enin. The metabolites showed dose dependent spasmolytic activity in rat duo denum. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science :Ltd. All rights reserved.
