Abstract
Hydroxylation of pregna-4-en-3-ones at C-11 alpha by the fungus Cephalospor ium aphidicola is shown to be affected by the nature of the pregnane side c hain whilst hydroxylation at C-6 beta is unaffected. (C) 1998 Elsevier Scie nce Ltd. All rights reserved.
