Investigations of the stem and root bark of Turraea holstii have yielded th
e known 1,3-diacetylvilasinin and seven novel limonoids: 11-epi-toonacilin,
11 beta,12 alpha-diacetoxycedrelone, 12-O-methylnimbolinin B, 12 alpha-ace
toxyneotrichilenone, 12 alpha-acetoxy-7-acetyl-1,2-dihydroneotrichilenone,
12 alpha-acetoxy-1,3-dihydroneotrichilenone and 11 beta-acetoxy-7-acetyl-12
alpha-hydroxy-1,2-dihydroneotrichilenone. The stereochemistry at C-11 in t
urraflorins A-C from Turraea floribunda has been revised, (C) 1998 Elsevier
