The study presents a concept of experience-orientated familiy work. 16 of 1
9 families taking part in this study have given a very positive feed-back c
oncerning a few days stay in hospital taking part in their childrens therap
y program. On average 1 lit year after hospital treatment (clinic for child
and adolescence psychiatry) parents were asked for statements. More than t
wo thirds of all families described a positive outcome of treatment. Those
who noticed less (n=4) or no (n=2) positive results after therapy were stil
l able to make helpful personal experiences participating on hospital thera
py.
