Abstract
The Th-229 decay has been investigated using a Th-229 source continuously p urified from its daughters by ion-exchange chromatography on Dowex(R) 1-X4. Energies and intensities of more than 142 gamma-transitions were accuratel y measured with HPGe detectors. Among them, 66 were newly observed, mostly in the 300-700 keV energy range. In a preliminary Ra-225 level scheme, we p resents the feeding of 7 new levels at 403.5, 478.1, 486.9, 592.6, 604.4, 6 09.2 and 662.8 keV and their de-excitation.
