A model and experiment of an aqueous slurry process are reported. Acco
rding to an ideal structure of a fiber-reinforced composite, we presen
t a square geometrical model to build up the relationships among some
important parameters in the process such as powder particle diameter,
wet slurry concentration, flow distance of melting powder particle, an
d fiber volume fraction of the composite. Practical experiments based
on these relationships provide the optimum parameters for manufacturin
g the continuous fiber reinforced polyethylene matrix composite.
