Abstract
An experimental setup, which uses self-mixing interference inside a mi crochip laser, demonstrates that optical measures are possible on a ro ugh target with a high signal to noise ratio. In particular it is show n that the Doppler-shift frequency in the audio range 0-100kHz and up to 25m is accessible without complex optics and sophisticated electron ics.
