We calculate the low temperature dynamic relaxation function for the one-di
mensional classical planar antiferromagnet with a Dzyaloshinski-Moriya inte
raction normal to the xy-plane using a projection operator technique. At ab
solute zero temperature the interaction gives rise to a canted structure si
milar to the weak ferromagnetic arrangement observed in some three-dimensio
nal compounds. We obtain an analytical expression for the time dependent me
