Abstract
Orientational domain twins that are periodically stacked in the growth dire ction are frequently observed in spontaneously ordered GaInP2 alloys grown under special conditions. We present experimental evidence showing that the electronic and optical properties of such structures are altered from thos e of the uniform Cu-Pt ordered alloy. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
