The dielectric properties of (AgI)(1-x)(Ag2MoO4)(x) glasses have been inves
tigated at fixed microwave frequency (v = 9.0 GHz) and temperature varying
from T = 293 K down to T = 77 K using the usual cylindrical cavity resonati
ng in the TM010 mode. The temperature dependence of a.c. conductivity shows
the existence of different relaxation processes. The activation energy val
ues extracted from the Arrhenius plot of sigma T vs. 1000/T are compared wi
th the values obtained from the acoustic attenuation in the same glasses. (
