Abstract
Poly(1,3-disilacyclobutane-1,3-)diyl, the first representative of the cyclo linear poly(organocarbosiloxane) family based on disilacycloalkanes, was sy nthesized by heterofunctional polycondensation of 1,3-dichloro-1,3-dimethyl -1,3-disilacyclobutane and an analogous 1,3-dihydroxy derivative. The struc ture of the polymer was studied by H-1 and Si-29 NMR and IR spectroscopies.
