Rb. Peterson et J. Sargent, UNION AND EMPLOYER CONFEDERATION VIEWS ON CURRENT LABOR-RELATIONS IN 21 INDUSTRIALIZED NATIONS, Relations industrielles, 52(1), 1997, pp. 39-60
This study reports the results of a cross-sectional mail survey sent t
o top officials of union and employer confederations in twenty-one ind
ustrialized market economies in Western Europe, North America, and Jap
an. The results regarding their assessment of the current labour relat
ions situation in their own country show some significant differences
related to employer us. union side and by economic groupings (EEU, EFT
A, and other). We conclude that the relatively stable labour-managemen
t relationships during the 1960s and 1970s has apparently given way to
greater divergence among the major industrial nations in recent years
