Abstract
Electron-molecule collisions play a significant role in chemical transforma tion in a silent electric discharge. The reaction mechanism and kinetics ha ve been investigated in various gas mixtures of Ar, N-2 or CO with O-2. The se coefficients can be estimated both on experimental and theoretical basis . The measured values are in good agreement with those calculated by theore tical methods.
