The coercive fields H-c, saturation magnetizations J(s) and magnetostrictio
ns lambda(s) of the amorphous Fe86-xNixZr7Cu1B6 alloys with different conte
nts of Ni (0-86 at.%) were investigated at room temperature. Thermomagnetic
analyses by means of initial AC permeability and resistivity at the amorph
ous and nanocrystalline states of the investigated alloys were performed up
to 550 degrees C. It was found that additions of Ni up to a = 33 at.% caus
e an increase of H-c, J(s), lambda(s). Additons of Ni (x = 0 - 43) cause dr
astic increase of the Curie temperature from 71 degrees C for x = 0at.% to
373 degrees C for x = 43at.% of Ni. Higher concentration of Ni causes a dec
rease of H-c, J(s), lambda(s) and T-c.
