The Fe-13at.%Si alloys with 1, 3, and 5 at.% of Co were investigated. Spin
texture, atomic configuration, and Curie temperature were studied in depend
ence on chemical composition and heat treatment. Data on atomic arrangement
s derived form Mossbauer spectra and Curie temperatures showed that Co atom
s substituted regular positions of Fe atoms in the bcc lattice. Spin textur
e was found to be only slightly dependent on the chemical composition of th
e alloys, however, it varies with heat treatment considerably.
