Abstract
Two new species, Eupodes minipilus and E. acanthus, are described and illus trate, and E. parafusifer Meyer & Ryke is redescribed. An identification ke y to the southern African species of the genus Eupodes is provided. Special emphasis is placed on the shape and position of dorsal idiosomal setae, ch aetotaxy of the palp, leg chaetotaxy and solenidiotaxy. Eupodes fusiferellu s Meyer & Ryke, E. variegatus Koch and E. longipilus Thor, previously repor ted from South Africa, are discussed.
