Abstract
A 3-year-old dog was presented with a missing upper right canine tooth. A t itanium implant was placed in the space in the position of the missing cani ne. After approximately 5 months,the implant was uncovered, impressions tak en and a healing abutment fitted. This was removed after a further 8 weeks when a prosthesis was attached.
