Abstract
We determine the homogenized density of energy associated with a viscoelast ic sandwich beam, non-uniformly stuck. We ape then able to obtain the globa l dynamic behaviour of a 'real' viscoelastic beam with fewer degrees of fre edom. (C) Academie des Sciences/Elsevier, Paris.
