Abstract
The monotypic genus Seychellesius Carvalho is transferred from the subfamil y Cylapinae to Deraeocorinae, tribus Termatophylini Renter. Redescriptions and illustrations of the genus and its single species Seychellesius niger ( Distant) are given.
