Abstract
The polished surface of polycrystalline silver has been investigated using Scanning Tunneling Microscopy technique. The analysis of surface roughness shows anisotropic scaling behaviour. Different moments of height-height cor relation indicate multifractality along the direction of grooves in contras t to self-affine behaviour in other directions.
