Abstract
Dielectric permittivity, linear birefringence measurement and polarizing mi croscope studies were performed for TEASbCl(4) single crystal. These invest igations showed anomalies of permittivity and linear birefringence at T-c = 274 K and give evidence for the first-order structural phase transition at this temperature. No twinning (ferroelasticity) was observed below T-c.
