Abstract
We have developed a method of separating isotopes when they are simult aneously trapped in a magneto-optical trap. In addition, we have illum inated a pair of weak laser beams as well as the trapping beams and ha ve been able to move one isotope. In comparison to the method of tilti ng one of the trapping beams, this method provides us with a systemati c study of the isotope separation.
