Abstract
We investigate a method to control the quantum dynamics of a three-lev el system by adjusting the intensities, phases, and detunings of two s ingle-mode cw lasers. The time-independent probability for finding the system in a particular eigenstate is proven to reach 100% when the pa rameters of the lasers are adequately controlled. The stability of the process for the variations of the parameters is also analyzed.
