Abstract
The rectangular dielectric waveguide (RDWG) technique has been previously d escribed for the determination of complex permittivity of a wide class of d ielectric materials of various thicknesses and cross sections. This paper p resents a unified RDWG technique for the determination of the dielectric co nstant of materials. Some measurement results are reported in the W-band fr equencies to demonstrate the usefulness of the RDWG technique where other t echniques are usually constrained by the sample dimensions.
