Abstract
This paper describes a feasibility study of a biomass-powered hot water hea ter for domestic or small-scale use. A biomass reactor was designed and bui lt to serve individuals at a golf course in Florida. The study found small- scale biomass reactor-powered heat exchangers to be useful as retrofitted p reheaters to existing home water heating systems. Copyright (C) 1999 John W iley & Sons, Ltd.
