Abstract
Given a family (e(tAk))(t greater than or equal to 0) (k is an element of N ) of commuting contraction semigroups, we investigate when the infinite pro duct Pi(k=1)(infinity) e(tAk) converges and defines a C-0-semigroup. A part icular case is the heat semigroup in infinite dimension introduced by Canna rsa and Da Prato (J. Funet. Anal. 118 (1993), 22-42). (C) 1998 Academic Pre ss.
